Weddings at St.Alkmund's
Are you looking to get married? St. Alkmund's Church is a great venue and you are welcome to a church wedding, whether or not you have been baptised and whatever your beliefs. Your children are welcome too. You don't have to get married on a Saturday, or in white, or say "obey". If you live in Whitchurch, or can demonstrate a connection with the church or the town, you can marry at St. Alkmund's Church.
A national independent survey reveals that couples love saying their vows in a beautiful church (St. Alkmund's is a very beautiful church, we hope you would agree!); getting to know their local Vicar/Rector; being close to family and friends, past and present and to God, and that it's good value. A wedding at St. Alkmund's this year costs £321.50 plus local fees of £159.50, which includes the services of a Verger and an Organist. Other services include: the church bells rung before and after the service, which costs £100 and £7.00 per choir boy/girl if you would like the choir to lead the singing.
